Milä is a ferocious lover and warrior goddess who presides over
love and sex, serves as a minor fertility goddess, and governs the air and sky.
She takes no husband and is renowned for her promiscuity among both gods and
mortals, which usually happens under cover of night. Her personality is
occasionally childish, but she is dependable in a clinch, especially where her
leadership of the Kauya – a host of Amazonian warriors – is concerned. While
she cries tears of gold, it is not wise to upset her.
Milä appears as a mind-numbingly beautiful maiden with flowing dark
locks, large green eyes, and a fit physique. She regularly wears a golden
breastplate and a cape of swan feathers and rarely appears without an escort of
swans, doves, or cats – any of whom might be Kauya in disguise.
Morality
Milä tends to patronize individuals who share in and promote her
love of partying – Compulsive Carousing – and lovemaking – Uncontrollable
Appetite (Sex). While she might tend toward the whimsical side, she is
steadfast and expects her clergy to follow suit; represent this with Code of
Honor (Soldier’s). Since they are expected to have a multitude of sexual
partners throughout their life, the Love-Bringer’s clerics do not marry; take Vow
(Never Marry) [-5] to represent this. And like all gods, a host of ceremonies
and rituals surround Milä’s worship. These are best modeled with Disciplines of
Faith (Mysticism or Ritualism), the latter of which definitely applies to any romantic endeavors!
Divine Servitors
Divine servitors of Milä always have one of Air or Beauty,
depending on whether they embody her airy demesne or her place as goddess of
desire. More diverse servitors will include Darkness to represent the night
during which Milä’s trysts usually take place, Good for her reliability and
general beneficence, and Death or War for her ties to warfare and the
collection of fallen soldiers via the Kauva.
Shrines
Milä is one of the few deities whose dedicated shrines are better
called temples. There, the clergy worships the Love-Bringer through sexual
congress. They use this to raise funds for their cult, which in turn, funds
such large shrines. While these temples always have several private rooms for
copulation, the great hall provides a place for congregations to witness the
sexual offerings to the central statue of Milä the Beautiful by the priests and
priestesses before joining in the offerings themselves.
The Black of Night does not keep such lascivious quarters in
shared temples, however. There, she appears as a starkly beautiful statue
adorned in flowers, incense, and swan feathers and crying flecks of golden
tears.

Priests of Milä should generally be built using the Initiate
